About Me

My name is Stuart Estrella-Pinto. Welcome to my website. I am a fully trained Therapeutic Counsellor with Senior Accredited status from the NCPS, and I am also a graduate member of the British Psychological Society. I am available locally through my practice in Sheffield, South Yorkshire, and nationally via phone or video appointments.

In my practice, I offer tailored support for adults facing various mental health and life challenges, helping to foster personal growth and emotional well-being. I have extensive experience in providing counselling for a wide range of issues.

I am specifically trained to provide counselling by phone and video, and I have significant experience working with clients in this format. This approach is beneficial for those whose circumstances may require flexibility, or for whom online or phone therapy is more suitable.

In addition to my private practice, I have worked as a counsellor for the NHS, several universities, hospices, and charities. I also provide therapy through various employee assistance programs. Before my career in counselling, I trained and worked as an Environmental Scientist. My decision to re-train in psychotherapy stemmed from a desire to have a more personal impact and a growing interest in how individuals can benefit from nature. I now combine both professions through my research in Walk and Talk Therapy.
